By partnering with like-minded vendors, we ensure that our products are not only of the highest quality but also produced with care for the planet. We actively engage in initiatives that support the cotton industry, aligning with the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and collaborating with Textile Exchange to uphold the highest social and environmental standards in the industry. Furthermore, we implement comprehensive recycling programs within our operations, where all cardboard and paper waste are systematically recycled. These efforts exemplify our commitment to sustainability at every level of production and supply, from vendor selection to the final product.

WASTE REDUCTION

We're deeply committed to minimizing waste across all aspects of our production. Our efforts range from comprehensive recycling initiatives and redesigning our packaging for greater environmental friendliness. We use packaging composed of 80% recycled materials, and all our poly bags, hang tags, and cardboard boxes are made from 70-100% recycled content. Additionally, our warehouse operations are optimized for sustainability, utilizing an electric forklift and undergoing a transition to energy-efficient lighting. We closely monitor our electricity and water usage to continually enhance efficiency. By 2026, our goal is to make every packaging component either recyclable or compostable, underscoring our dedication to sustainability.

In 2022, KAF achieved certification under Textile Exchange’s Global Recycled Standard, Recycled Claims Standard, and Organic Claims Standards. These certifications provide rigorous oversight and allow us to make verified claims about the environmental and organic content of our products. 


Each step in our value chain—from the organic cotton harvested at the farms to the yarn spun at the mills, and the weaving of the yarn into towels—is meticulously certified. This ensures that our processes not only comply with high environmental standards but also uphold transparency and ethical practices. By certifying every link in our production chain, from grain to mill to farm to towel, we demonstrate a deep commitment to accountability and sustainability in every aspect of our operations.
