4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
5 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch salt
3 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
¾ cup milk
¾ cup sour cream
¾ cup canola oil
Preheat your oven to 350 - 375°F, depending on how hot your oven runs.
Grease cupcake tins or rose silicone molds for 12 scones.
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
Make a well in the center and add all the wet ingredients.
Mix until just combined—avoid overmixing.
If the mixture seems too dry, add a bit more milk.
Distribute the batter evenly among the 12 molds.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Check doneness by inserting a knife or stick; it should come out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes in the molds before transferring to a cooling rack.
Serve with butter, your favorite jam, and fresh cream.
These scones are the perfect treat for a fall morning or afternoon, especially when paired with a warm cup of tea or coffee!
Cozy Comfort in the Kitchen
Shelley shared that baking these scones isn’t just about the recipe—it’s about the entire experience, from grabbing her favorite apron to
pulling the warm treats from the oven.
We were curious to know how our apron and oven mitts played a role.
"Your apron is super comfy and stylish! I love the linen fabric and how easy it is to slip on. The oven mitts are a great size, comfortable, and make baking so much easier."
Bringing Fall Vibes to Your Kitchen
As an interior designer, Shelley knows all about creating a cozy atmosphere, so we asked her for tips on setting the scene for fall baking."Put on some nice jazz music, light a fabulous autumn-scented candle, and sip a delicious cup of tea or coffee while you bake."
The Perfect Fall Flavors
Of course, we had to ask about the flavors that make these scones so irresistible in autumn! What are the ingredients that bring all the fall feels to this recipe?"My basic recipe is neutral, but you can add fall flavors like pumpkin pie spice, chopped nuts, nutmeg, cinnamon, or even chopped apple bits or chocolate chips. It’s fun to experiment with different combinations!"
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
Jute Bags
"This is the second bag I’ve bought. I wore my last one out from daily use after about 3 years! People compliment me all the time on this bag. Great quality and price! Quick shipping!"

Monaco Washed Dish Towels
"These towels dry dishes well and go perfectly with the same color of Monaco jumbo towels. I do wish the size was 20” by 30” instead of 18” by 28 though. I like to be able to match the colors and was able to do that with these. They are also really soft."
Virginia Egan
Lyon Napkins
"My new go-to napkin for a great casual table. They launder beautifully and require no ironing. Great weight and absorbency. Just used the blue ones on my Easter brunch table with orange mats and bright yellow dinnerware and a centerpiece of tiny vases of tulips, daffodils and herbs on a bed of moss with egg cups filled with pastel peanut M&Ms. Perfect complement on my Mexican table and with a Mediterranean one, too. You would be hard pressed to find a napkin with the functionality and great looks of this one."
